What is Hydroseeding?

Every premium lawn begins with a blanket of soil that traditional hand-seeder simply cannot replicate. By applying our specialized slurry of premium seed, moisture-retaining mulch, and nutrient-rich fertilizers, we create a custom foundation that ensures 100% ground contact. This provides an immediate, uniform protective layer that locks to your soil, preventing wind and birds from stealing your investment before it even has a chance to take root.

As the process goes into its accelerated growth phase, the hydroseed slurry acts as a high-performance micro-greenhouse. The wood-fiber mulch retains up to ten times its weight in water, keeping seeds hydrated and insulated against temperature swings that often kill off dry-seeded grass. This leads to rapid germination, with sprouts often appearing in as little as 7 to 10 days. More importantly, the tackifiers in our mix provide superior erosion control, ensuring your new lawn stays exactly where it was planted, even on steep slopes or during heavy rain to come.
